DEAR EVAN HANSEN Today is going to be a good day. And here’s why…

Meet Evan: an anxious high school kid who wants nothing more than to fit in. The thing is, on his way to fitting in, he didn’t tell the whole truth. And now must give up on a life he never dreamt he’d have. As events spiral and the truth comes out, Evan faces a reckoning with himself and everyone around him.

Packed with some of the biggest musical theatre songs of the last decade, DEAR EVAN HANSEN has a score by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Oscar-winning composers for The Greatest Showman), book by Steven Levenson and more awards than can be listed here. Well ok, we’ll mention a few: its Tony® Award for BEST MUSICAL, Olivier Award for BEST NEW MUSICAL, Grammy® Award for BEST MUSICAL THEATER SCORE…no big deal but the list goes on!

Keep On Keepin’ On (Blackpool Central Library) Performed at Blackpool Central Library, Queen Street, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY1 1PX.
Keep On Keepin’ On is a soulful, heartfelt, and hilariously chaotic tale of love, family, and survival set to the beat of Northern Soul.
Eugene and Maxine’s teenage romance first ignited on the dance floor, but life has spun them in and out of each other’s arms ever since. Now, Eugene spends his weekends DJing—still living for the music—while struggling all week to keep his Northern Soul-themed discount home improvement and white goods emporium from going under. He’s juggling a failing business, a restless Polish girlfriend, a daughter on the brink of disowning him, and even his dog seems ready to bail.
Just when he thinks things couldn’t possibly get worse, Maxine reappears with one more request —one that will change everything. Their son has just gotten out of jail, and he needs Eugene’s help. Cue Storm Liam!
A laugh-out-loud, soul-rich, cash-poor story of a dysfunctional Northern Soul family just trying to keep it together on a run-down northern high street.
